Job Title: Database Developer
Career Level: 2-5 years (Mid Level)
Location: Glen Burnie, MD
FLSA Status: Exempt
Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain database architecture, data dictionaries, and database schemas. Perform requirements analysis and data modeling using various design tools. Apply strategies for building and populating database structures. Adhere to release management practices and procedures. Adapt to new technologies as needed. Interface with clients to perform maintenance and testing activities for newly implemented and existing solutions.

Requirements:
  • BA/BS in Computer Science or a related area
  • Two (2) to Five (5) years of experience designing and developing complex database solutions using ETL tools
  • Experience with full system development lifecycle for database solutions
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft SQL Server or similar RDBMS
  • Knowledge of database development and release management concepts, practices and procedures along with performance tuning database code in OLTP or OLAP environments

    • Database Objects (e.g. tables, views, indexes, constraints, partitions)
